Zinnia ‘Yellow Peruvian’ Organic

Zinnias were cultivated in Montezuma’s gardens along with other Mexican natives such as dahlias, sunflowers and morning glories. Introduced into England in 1753, this antique species has round flowers of overlapping petals in a gold ochre color that fades to soft gold. Sturdy stems like blue green fluted columns branch to produce a bushy plant that is mildew-resistant and beautiful.
