Phlox ‘Coccinea’

Gathered in 1835 by botanist Thomas Drummond during his exploratory travels in Texas, annual phlox very similar to this soon became a sensation in England, and many new varieties were bred. ‘Coccinnea’ features vibrant lipstick-red flower clusters perched atop medium-green, slightly sticky leaves and stems. Its signature traits include a months long bloom time, its longevity in a vase, and its easy-care nature.
