Ragged-Robin

Ragged robin is an increasingly rare flower of sunny, wet meadows in its native England, giving a clue as to its best use in gardens across the pond. Also called cuckoo flower it was at home in colonial gardens but is rarely found today. Frayed petals of bubblegum pink atop thin but strong stems add their airy, cloud-like charms to May gardens, beautiful with cowslips and viola.
